Welcome from the Headteacher

As Headteacher of Dumfries High School, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website.

Through both supporting and challenging pupils, our aim is to ensure that each and every learner within our school can reach their potential and work towards creating a positive future. Our school values of ‘Ambition’ and ‘Respect’ underpin all that we do.

We are committed to providing a positive learning environment for every single pupil; this involves staff, students and parents/carers working together with many other partners to achieve the highest standards in all educational experiences.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our website. Please contact the school if you require any further information or we can help in any way.

Best wishes, Phil Cubbon
